The NVIDIA Mellanox MMS4A50-XM-RHS is a hot-swappable OSFP twin-port 2 × 800G FR4 optical transceiver for 2 × 800 Gbps InfiniBand and Ethernet links over single-mode fiber, with a 2 × duplex LC interface and reach of up to 2 km SMF. It is the duplex-LC 1.6T switch optic (riding heat-sink (flat top)) for links up to 2 km between halls or buildings in Quantum-X800 and Spectrum-X800 fabrics, without MPO trunks. Twin-port 1.6T OSFP optics carry two independent 800G XDR links in one cage; each MPO-12/APC (or LC) port links to a single-port 800G optic at the adapter end or to another twin-port optic switch-to-switch.
