About the NVIDIA Mellanox MMS1C00-CMMA
The NVIDIA Mellanox MMS1C00-CMMA is a hot-swappable QSFP28 100G PSM4 optical transceiver for 100 Gbps Ethernet links over single-mode fiber, with an MPO-12/APC, 1 m pigtail interface and reach of up to 2 km SMF. It is the MMS1C00 100GbE PSM4 module supplied with a 1 m MPO pigtail, so the fiber is factory-attached instead of plugging into a front-panel MPO port. PSM4 optics use four parallel single-mode lanes over an MPO-12 single-mode trunk, so one 100G link can also be split into 4 × 25G single-mode links. Typical uses: 100GbE leaf-spine fabrics, EDR InfiniBand HPC clusters, storage and data-center interconnect.
