About the NVIDIA Mellanox MMA1L00-T
The NVIDIA Mellanox MMA1L00-T is a hot-swappable QSFP+ 40G PSM LR4 optical transceiver for 40 Gbps Ethernet links over single-mode fiber, with an MPO-12 interface and reach of up to 10 km SMF. It is a parallel single-mode 40G optic: four 1310 nm lanes over an MPO single-mode trunk, used where a 40G link had to run 10 km or be split into 4 × 10G LR single-mode links. Breakout: 4 × 10G LR with an MPO-to-4×LC single-mode breakout. Typical uses: 40GbE and FDR10 spine, aggregation and HPC cluster links, plus 4 × 10G breakout.
