The CX-T-1G-SFP-T is an SFP 1000BASE-T module from NVIDIA's LinkX range for 1 Gbps Ethernet links. It plugs into an SFP / SFP+ / SFP28 port on an NVIDIA / Mellanox switch, adapter or DPU and is used for management networks, out-of-band links, legacy Gigabit uplinks and connecting 1G devices to SFP-based switch ports.

NVIDIA specifies the CX-T-1G-SFP-T for up to 100 m over Cat5e or better twisted-pair copper.

It uses a standard RJ-45 jack with copper cabling, so copper devices connect straight into the switch's SFP-type port.

It works in NVIDIA and Mellanox platforms with SFP / SFP+ / SFP28 ports that list this part in their firmware 'validated and supported cables and modules' table.
